Geronimo is the 2nd prototype for the highly successful S97 fleet developed by Kim Swarbrick.  The design is a larger version of the S80 at the request of skippers wanted to go out on the ocean as well as race on the Swan River.

She is a cedar strip construction with fibre-glass sheath. (the third prototype being used as the plug to create a mould for the rest of the hulls built since 1995).

Geronimo replaces the S&S34 yacht SuperStar that we sailed to a Division 1 title in the 2006/7 season.  The new boat is lighter, faster and more suited to the WA conditions.  We normally sail with 5 - 6 crew though can still be competitive with far less
